Short Description

Dyson Group has been a family-run business since 1952. To celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2022, Hyphen produced The Spirit of Dysons, a 45-minute documentary introducing the family that trailblazed bus services in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and beyond. Timed with the fifth generation of the family taking up the mantle, the film tells the history of the family and the business, honouring the individuals who made it all happen.

 

To make the most of the countless hours of footage we shot, we then created Welcome to Dysons, a short induction film for new Dysons employees, and This is Dysons, a short film that lives on the company website.

The openness and enthusiasm of the Dyson family led this projects. Their amazing story allowed us to create a full documentary, and from all the video footage and incredible interview material, we were also able to produce two additional short films. These films were designed to introduce the organisation to new employees.
